Cost concerns with relocation; focus turned to cost modeling to help decision making
At its January 23 meeting, RPL Board of Directors Chair Marj Gavigan shared that a site selection report and accompanying cost estimates for a temporary relocation raised concerns about location and cost to relocate. Very few location options exist to retrofit a library, even a temporary one, and cost estimates were higher than anticipated. Library administration will work on cost modeling to help with decision-making about the renewal project, and support the Board in researching its options.
